Eileen Ryan

Eileen has been involved with swimming her whole life. She was a competitive swimmer as a child and continued to race throughout high school and college. She began coaching many years ago and has coached for various swim programs in Queens and the Hudson Valley. Even now she still swims regularly – enjoying a life learned skill.

Eileen joined VAC as a coach in 2007. Her expertise and passion lies in working with the novice swimmers: teaching them the fundamentals of stroke technique, starts, and turns. She loves watching them learn and grow, especially when they get to demonstrate their progress at swim meets. Eileen believes in the VAC philosophy of providing a safe environment for swimmers while they strive to do their personal best.
