Dylan Gillespie

Dylan

Dylan Gillespie is excited to return to the VAC as a coach, where their own swimming journey began. With over 10 years of competitive swimming experience, years of teaching swim lessons, and ongoing participation in triathlons and open water events, he brings a deep passion and understanding of the sport.

Joining the team as a young swimmer gave him the chance to build lifelong friendships, develop self-discipline, and cultivate accountability and confidence—skills that continue to guide them every day.

As a coach, Dylan aims to create a welcoming environment where every swimmer feels safe and encouraged to strive for their personal best. They emphasize strong technique and are dedicated to helping each athlete set and surpass their own goals. Dylan looks forward to guiding swimmers as they grow, not just as athletes, but as confident, disciplined individuals.
