Carol Colton

Carol has coached with VAC since 2007. She took a brief hiatus in 2017 and returned to coach with us again in 2022. She is very happy to be back with us as she loved coaching in our program. She loves VAC’s philosophy of providing an environment and an opportunity for all swimmers to develop into the best swimmers they can be, while also having fun in the process.

Carol was a competitive swimmer all her life, from age group swimming, high school and Division 1 college swimming at Fordham University. She has been a US coach since 1997, including 10 years experience as a head coach of a US swim team.

Carol looks forward to working with our swimmers and instilling in them the desire to be the best they can be. She firmly believes participating in competitive swimming provides the swimmers with skills and characteristics that will benefit them their entire lives.
